I also really like Marlena speaking from experience with Nicole. Their relationship has always been interesting to me which is why Maggie horning in on that had bothered me the last year or so.
Nicole and Marlena's relationship has always been so much fun, Nicole and Maggie are vomit inducing. I have been enjoying the lack of Maggie lately, I can't even remember the last time Nicole shared a scene with her. :D
Agreed. It makes me crazy that interesting dynamics between Marlena and characters like Nicole and Brady were pushing aside for Maggie. But it has been nice not seeing her.

Did Brady and Theresa ever get married? I missed a few months
No they are not married, Orpheus interrupted their wedding before the bride even got there. I suspect they will not be officially married when JL departs soon.
Orpheus interrupted the wedding and ranted about hating John and Marlena and wanted to kill Paul for being related to them and Brady STILL didn't realize he could be a target of Orpheus. Moron.
Meanwhile, in the middle of the chaos, Paul-- who wasn't raised in the family-- instantly realized that he could use himself as leverage against Orpheus because he's John's son.

Alas.

If it were to turn out that these were all hints that Tate is sick, I'd be surprised. Though they did do that with Grace. They've been doing this with Tate all along though. And it would make Theresa and Brady look even worse than it made Sami look. Though I guess if it didn't stop them with Sami...I doubt it though.

Theresa almost always annoys me but she took it to a new level in this episode. No one is forcing her to live there, and they have a nanny, not to mention Tate has a dad. Isn't Tate almost 2? If he woke up 9 times through the night, took multiple bottles and needed his diaper changed that many times, there's something wrong with the kid. Take him to the hospital! Everyone else in the house appears to have showered and are wearing clean clothes, but she can't?
She was beyond inane. Not only is no one forcing her to live there, she was the one who wanted to live there because Xander grabbed her in the townhouse. She was the one who chose not to wake Brady or ask the nanny to help in the night. And since the house is so full... during the day she could have handed Tate off to a number of people (even assuming she did't want to give him to Victor or Deimos, there was surely someone around who would have read him a story while she grabbed a shower or a nap).

I honestly did wonder if Brady asking about the possibility of an ear infection was foreshadowing that the kid is sick and his parents are too dumb/self-absorbed to pick up on it. Vomiting (because he's a toddler, not an infant "spitting up"), constant wet diapers, and constant screaming are worth a checkup.

LOL, maybe the checkup would reveal a DNA mismatch and he's not theirs after all.

I don't really get the issue. Are we supposed to think everyone in the mansion still hates Theresa? I haven't seen anything to support that anyone still hates her other than Victor. I'd think at this point she'd get along especially with Philip who is also on the outs with Victor. She adores Maggie, and she's there. Nicole apparently doesn't live there, and she's there all the time. I get not wanting to shove your kid off on the first person who walks by, but why's the nanny even there then? I wish they'd take a minute to see if these scenes even make sense before they bother. All they managed to do was make both Brady and Theresa look even worse.

Btw, did they do the procedure he needed because of his rare condition (autoimmune deficiency)? Or did the doctor tell them it wasn't needed and he was ok?

I guess Deimos is her new problem based on the phone call with eve but when Brady actually said the nanny was there too that was the final straw on an already ridiculous conversation. And the kicker for me was Theresa said Tate was up nine times and he started crying and Brady still stood there with that stupid look on his face.

I'm guessing they don't move out once the crisis is over too which makes no sense.

I'm not sure the crisis will end before Theresa leaves. I think they might catch Xander this week, but I think he might be released because of Theresa's lie/confession.

I didn't find it boring, but I also didn't find it overly exciting either, but it was enjoyable enough.

I know others are now finding Chad boring, I'm not. Loved his scenes with Thomas, and I like his relationship with Kate. Andre needs to go though, there's nothing appealing about the character at all.

I need Lucas and Adrienne out of that mansion, they don't belong there.

Theresa almost always annoys me but she took it to a new level in this episode. No one is forcing her to live there, and they have a nanny, not to mention Tate has a dad. Isn't Tate almost 2? Like I posted earlier, NicoDeimos don't bother me, I'm actually intrigued by their dysfunctional relationship and where it's going, because something is not right with them. She is going through the motions, pretending to be happy, but I'm not seeing it. I've seen Nicole when she's been happy and in love or falling in love, and this isn't it.

Marlena was awesome, and I love John and Marlena, they are the vet couple that I want to see the most. I'm glad they're giving her such a big role in bringing the convicts down. I loved Marlena telling Deimos what Nicole is like, she knows her a hell of a lot better than he does. I'm looking forward to seeing them implement their plan, and I love that it involves so much of the cast. That was my biggest gripe with the Chabby/Ben storyline, it was too isolated. More people should have been involved.

Joey didn't annoy me for a change, but that kid desperately needs a haircut.

Well Theresa found time to change her clothes before going over to the Townhouse, so they didn't think John's call was THAT urgent.

As for the Tate thing - I don't know. He's such a non-entity - I don't have any inside information but I get the feeling that Tate may not be around much longer but whether they write him as sick and kill him or he leaves with Theresa is anyone's guess. They just haven't put any effort toward him except as a prop for Thrady.

I agree with the NicoDeimos thing - Nicole clearly isn't happy (although I think she's trying to convince herself she is) and something isn't quite right but I can't put my finger on it. I'm intrigued to see where they are heading with this and hopefully it ends up segueing into a fabulous slow build Ericole storyline when GV comes back in January. I have to admit (quietly though) that if there is going to be a triangle I'd rather it be Eric/Nicole/Deimos that Eric/Nicole/Brady because at this point Brady is a complete and total moron and I definitely prefer Nicole/Brady as really good friends.

Joey was 100% improved today and I was glad they included him in the planning.

But the definite winner today as Marlene cockblocking Deimos. Go girl!!

I hate Kate in the Martin house. I hate that Doug and Julie sold it to her, how naive can you be? I don't get why does Kate always have to be in some big house, can't she find a nice penthouse apartment?

Kate goes home. Andre there and wants to know plan on taking convicts down. Kate says it doesn't concern him.
It seemed weird to me that they flat out told Chad to get rid of Andre, as if Andre wouldn't be tipped off. I think Kayla could have relayed a message to Chad through Jennifer instead, and Chad could have visited Kate alone.

Wait wait wait. Theresa hasn't confessed about the fake rape yet, but John seems to know. And he just broke out his dad voice on Brady again.
I noted this too - was it cut maybe?

I'm giving her a break on the Tate being terrible thing. I had a non-sleeping baby and he didn't stop waking 15 times a night until he was almost 2 years old. Nothing 'wrong' with him, he just had terrible separation anxiety. He had a bottle until he was 18 or 19 months too. I know the recommendation is 12 months but most parents I know don't put the foot down on bottles until 18m. And I've had plenty of meltdowns from lack of sleep in my parenting career.

The spitting up thing was dumb writing though. Should have said snot or drool or something. Or said outright, he's unwell. And the nanny thing was also dumb, as was leaving the house when you've just had a spack attack about lack of sleep. Brady should have just gone on his own.

I mean...like a real friendship? And that still wouldn't really be an "old friend." That implies a bit more.

They worked together, had dinner and flirted, which made Anna jealous. I don't know if I would call it a real friendship, but they were friendly and it was similar to Kate and Andre's interactions in the past (not counting 2007).
